Client Case Study

Virtual Tours and Video Solution

Background

Arsenal FC were formed from the workers of the Woolwich Arsenal Armament Factory in 1886 and are now one of the most successful sides in Europe.

In August 2006, Arsenal will be moving to the new Emirates Stadium and vacating Highbury Stadium.

At the present time, the Highbury Stadium can be seen by booking a Stadium Tour, which Arsenal wanted to promote on the website.

Solution

Focalpoint provided a 360° virtual tour solution for Arsenal to allow Web users to take a preview of the Stadium Tours in order to increase bookings.

A series of virtual tours were taken of the key areas of the Highbury Stadium tour and placed on the Arsenal website.

A documentary video was also shot to allow disabled fans to view the areas not accessible by a wheelchair. This is shown during the Stadium Tours.
