Aerial Photography Solution
Background
The HM Prison service needs absolutely no introduction.
There are currently
over 139 prisons in England and Wales and there is an ongoing update
and development program.
As part of the expansion program, there are new design and construction methods involved in building a prison.
For one such pilot scheme, the HM prison service wanted a way of recording the build process and photographing the finished article.
Solution
Focalpoint was contracted to take an aerial photo of the prison on a weekly basis to show the project progress.
The project was 9 months long and the photos were used in weekly project update meetings. Because this was a pilot scheme, the photos are also used for reference on similar projects.
Once the project was completed, Focalpoint took some final aerial photos and 360° virtual tours of the interior for marketing and reference purposes.
