360° Virtual Tour Solution
Background
The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, founded in 1727, boasts a pedigree of great diversity and distinction. The RBS Group is made up of 8 divisions which in turn incorporate over 41 brands.
The RBS have very advanced and large data centers through the world. To allow for continued expansion of their banking network, new data centers are being built on a regular basis.
It is important to monitor these multi-million pound projects and RBS wanted a visual way of doing this.
Solution
Focalpoint created a multimedia 360° virtual tour solution of a RBS data center being built.
On a weekly basis, virtual tours were taken of the data center from set positions and uploaded to the corporate website.
This interactive way of showing the data center being built, allowed the project staff to view exactly how the data center was progressing and how it was laid out.
