360° Virtual Tour Solution
Background
The first mention of St Andrew's is in 951 when the church was a wooden building at the top of the hill above the River Fleet.
The church survived the Great Fire because the wind changed just at the last moment but it was rebuilt anyway by Wren. Today's building opened in 1961 with furnishings from the Foundling's Hospital Chapel in Coram's Fields.
The Church has function rooms adjacent, which can be used for weddings and other functions. The Church wanted a way of promoting the facilities on offer, in a subtle manner.
Solution
Focalpoint created a web-based 360° virtual tour solution for St. Andrew Church to subtly showcase the facilities offered for functions.
The virtual tours showed the Church interior, function rooms, and entrance stairway. The atmosphere of the rooms in the building really comes through in the tours.
The 360° virtual tours work exceptionally well in the Church because they show exactly what is on offer and don't exaggerate the surroundings.
